Manufactured by Zhuzhou Diamond (ZCCCT), this DCMT series 55° diamond boring insert includes DCMT11T304-HM and DCMT11T308-HM specifications with HM-type semi-finishing chipbreaker. Matched with YBC251 CVD-coated carbide grade, it is engineered for internal boring of carbon steel, alloy steel and structural steel.

The YBC251 grade combines a tough carbide substrate with multi-layer MT-TiCN, thick Al₂O₃ and TiN CVD coating, delivering outstanding edge safety, crater wear resistance and thermal stability. The universal HM chipbreaker ensures stable chip control and smooth evacuation across wide semi-finishing feed ranges.

Its double-sided diamond geometry offers 2 usable cutting edges per insert, bringing solid cost efficiency for high-volume production. Fully interchangeable with standard DCMT boring tool holders, it supports fast indexing and is widely applied in automotive, machinery, pump and valve sectors.
