CCMT09T3-HM JT4125 KM8225 Steel Special CNC Internal Boring Insert

This CCMT series 80° diamond indexable boring insert includes CCMT09T304-HM and CCMT09T308-HM specifications with HM-type chipbreaker, paired with premium JT4125 and KM8225 carbide grades. It is engineered for internal boring, semi-finishing and finishing of carbon steel, alloy steel and structural steel on CNC lathes.

The JT4125 and KM8225 grades combine a tough carbide matrix with advanced multi-layer CVD coating, delivering excellent wear resistance, thermal stability and edge toughness. They effectively resist crater wear and thermal cracking in continuous steel cutting, while the HM chipbreaker ensures reliable chip control across broad parameters.

Its double-sided diamond geometry provides 2 usable cutting edges per insert, delivering solid cost efficiency for high-volume production. Fully interchangeable with standard CCMT boring tool holders, it enables fast indexing and is widely applied in automotive, machinery, pump and valve industries.
