Product Selling Points

This MUR and SBUR series flat-bottom small-bore boring tool is forged from integral tungsten carbide with optimized rear angle structure. It provides 90° SBUR and approx 91° MUR edges with high rigidity, specially built for flat-bottom boring of bores above 3mm on Swiss-type precision lathes.

 

Precision-ground flat cutting edges ensure stable cutting entry and smooth chip evacuation in confined inner-hole spaces. The premium wear-resistant coating effectively suppresses built-up edge, delivering accurate flat-bottom profiles and tight dimensional tolerances for steel and stainless steel.

 

It offers a complete range of specifications with various shank diameters, cutting depths and nose radii to meet diverse boring needs. Its compact rigid shank fits narrow bore spaces well, prolongs tool life, cuts changeover downtime and boosts efficiency for mass miniature part manufacturing.
