This KT40 series MFR/MFL micro face grooving tool is made of solid tungsten carbide with wear-resistant KT40 coating. Available in right-hand MFR and left-hand MFL versions with full specs, it is designed for face grooving of steel and stainless steel on CNC Swiss-type lathes.

Precision-ground cutting edges with optimized anti-vibration geometry ensure stable chatter-free grooving in small bores. The KT40 coating enhances wear resistance, delivering accurate groove profiles, excellent surface finish and smooth chip evacuation for steel and stainless steel workpieces.

Its high-rigidity monolithic carbide shank greatly extends tool service life and reduces tool-change downtime. It effectively lowers overall tooling costs and improves mass production efficiency of precision miniature face-grooved metal components.
