This XNEX040308-ST indexable milling insert from Dalian SANT is equipped with ST chipbreaker geometry, available in BS1015 and BS1002 carbide grades. It is designed for shoulder milling, face milling and slotting on stainless steel, carbon steel and cast iron on CNC machining centers.

BS1015 grade delivers outstanding chipping resistance and thermal stability for difficult-to-cut stainless steel. BS1002 provides balanced wear resistance for carbon steel and cast iron. The ST chipbreaker optimizes chip flow and effectively prevents built-up edge during cutting.

Made to standard XNEX mounting specifications, these inserts fit matched milling cutter bodies for quick indexing and reduced setup downtime. The multi-edge design greatly improves cost performance, widely applied in mold, automotive and general machinery industries.
