This MGMN series round nose grooving insert ranges from 2.0mm to 5.0mm in cutting width, made of premium cubic boron nitride (CBN) with a signature red tip. It is purpose-built for grooving, parting and profiling of quenched steel and high-hardness workpieces on CNC lathes.
The CBN substrate boasts ultra-high hardness, excellent hot hardness and outstanding wear resistance, maintaining sharp edge integrity even under high cutting temperatures.
