Manufactured by Dalian Shante, this MRMN400-M full-radius grooving insert features a 4.0mm standard cutting width with M-type optimized chipbreaker geometry. Matched with BS1029 stainless steel-dedicated carbide grade, it is purpose-built for grooving, profiling and O-ring groove machining of 304, 316 and various austenitic stainless steels on CNC lathes.

The BS1029 grade adopts advanced nano-composite PVD coating with exceptional anti-adhesion and abrasion resistance, effectively suppressing built-up edge and crater wear in continuous stainless steel cutting. The optimized M-type chipbreaker ensures stable chip formation and smooth evacuation across wide feed and cutting depth ranges.

Precision machined to standard MRMN interface dimensions, this double-edged insert fits most common external grooving tool holders for quick indexing and minimized downtime.
